The mission of Temple Education Ministries, Inc. is to make an impact in the Upstate through Love, Fellowship, and Outreach while addressing individual needs of the homeless and at-risk citizens in the target areas of Inman, Campobello, Landrum, Gramling and surrounding areas.

When We’re Open & How We Serve:
The H.O.P.E. Soup Kitchen is open every Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Guests are welcomed to move through a series of food stations and select items based on their needs.
Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, guests were served a hot meal and allowed to socialize, exercise and play games. Since the pandemic, guests now receive a to-go boxed hot meal, allowing individuals and families to safely take a warm, prepared meal with them.
Each guest is invited to choose one item from each station during the first pass. After everyone has had the opportunity to go through—typically serving 100 or so individuals—guests are invited to go through again as food is available. This approach ensures fairness, dignity, and care for all.
H.O.P.E. Soup Kitchen Food Service Stations At H.O.P.E. Soup Kitchen (Helping Others Prosper & Excel), our food services are organized into six stations, each designed to provide a variety of nourishing options based on availability.
1. Fresh Fruit Station (Based on Availability)Watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, grapes, strawberries, blueberries, bananas, apples, andoranges.
2. Frozen Meat Station (Based on Availability)Fish, chicken, beef, roasts, ground turkey, ground beef, hot dogs, and other meats.
3. Vegetable Station (Based on Availability)Celery, cabbage, asparagus, summer squash, lettuce, greens, green peppers, bell peppers,and other vegetables as available.
4. Breads & Grains Station (Based on Availability)Bread and other grain-based items provided through community support.
5. Frozen Foods Station (Based on Availability)Frozen vegetables, fruits, and other prepared frozen food items depending on supply.
6. Cakes, Pies & Sweets cookies, and other baked goods provided by local bakeries and service providers throughout the Upstate.
